Mil-Satcoms

Phase2 Microwave provide coaxial and Helical filters solutions for the military in the UHF band.
EW Filters
Narrowband and wideband ( up to 40%) coaxial filters can be designed exactly using in house software and mode-matching programs together with high performing lowpass filters.
Specialised Components
Because of our extensive microwave experience and EM and mechanical modelling capability we can provide special variations of standard components, such as transitions or couplers, with special interfaces, shapes or performance.

ATC Cavites and Combiners
Air Traffic Control applications (both Civil and Military) lie between 118 and 400Mhz and use narrowband comms channels. Phase2 Microwave have developed high Q highly temperature stable cavities which can be operator set at any frequency in the VHF band. The terchnology can also be used for the UHF band. The cavities can be cable combined to form combiners.
Case Studies
Q525 - S Band Radar Receive Filter
The system specification calls for more rejection than normal
for the receive filter, in order to attenuate 4G base station signals
which can now transmit up to 2.7GHz.
